Fostering kindness in children will help them to build healthy and positive relationships with others. Which will, in return, help build healthy relationships with themselves and others in our schools, communities, and world.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

She has been an educator of young children for over 40+ years. She understood the importance of teaching children academics, but she also knew that she was responsible for teaching children “Heart Matters “too! Bullying was on the rise and becoming an epidemic worldwide. Many students were taking their own lives because of being bullied. This troubled her heart and her spirit. She started emphasizing acts of kindness in her classroom to increase positive relationships among teachers, students, and peers. This approach improved their classroom climate and helped them to develop a school-family-community.

She was given a vision to create a program about sharing kindness in 2008. Through the years, the project developed piece by piece.

This project includes lessons about kindness and love in a fun, creative way incorporating object lessons, reading, math, science, storytelling, puppetry, singing, and dancing.
